Additive Manufacturing Training by The Barnes Group Advisors

The Barnes Group Advisors (TBGA) now provides training for Additive Manufacturing as part of their ADDvisor® Services offering. The training ranges from online courses, to short introductory workshops to intensive, hands-on experiences. TBGA uses innovative technical and training tools which are available to trainers to use in the delivery to clients. TBGA appointed Alison Wyrick Mendoza to lead this segment of the business in March.

“Our industry contacts expressed interest in having training in the Additive Manufacturing space available,” says Rob Higham, Senior ADDvisor® at TBGA. “We feel we’re in a position to leverage our team experience to do so. We plan to place a premium on accurate, robust technical content.”

Customer requirement is a key variable considered in development, and the training intensifies depending the maturity of AM within their environment. “The training will focus at the Engineer, Manager and Executive level, as well as the path from initial learning experience to advanced applications development,” says Tim Simpson Ph.D., an Expert ADDvisor® at TBGA with 20 years of industry training experience.
