KBM Advanced Materials
The Barnes Global Advisors maximized industry media outlets and influencers to launch a new business model created by KBM Advanced Materials.
KBM Advanced Materials evolved from the recognition that AM metal powder companies struggle to provide product in a reasonable time to customers. The company leadership created a new business model to streamline the distribution of powders for the AM industry by partnering with powder producers to stock product in one central location. The company principles and investors did not have relationships within the broader AM industry, including media contacts, and therefore required assistance to get their message out and develop contacts immediately.
TBGA developed and distributed a press release to AM media contacts to quickly maximize exposure to the industry. We then hosted an introduction webinar on REMO and invited journalists to attend. We also recommended the company to invest in an extensive print media advertising campaign to build the company image and capabilities. These ads were prominent on digital and print platforms, especially around large AM conferences and events.
The press release was picked up by 106 media
outlets and 955 media influencers.
The REMO online event resulted in a
follow-up article in Additive Manufacturing Media.
The ad campaign resulted in 169,000 impressions and 3,000 clicks.
The Metal AM Magazine print edition was distributed to over 10,000 and the summer digital edition had over 26,000 impressions.
