The Barnes Global Advisors Names Jennifer Coyne Vice President and Director of Programs

New executive role strengthens TBGA’s leadership as the company scales to meet growing demand across advanced manufacturing

PITTSBURGH, PA — October 13, 2026 — The Barnes Global Advisors (TBGA) is announcing the promotion of Jennifer Coyne to Vice President and Director of Programs. In this newly created role, Jen will lead three functions: Programs, Contracts, and Strategy & Integration, holding direct reports, budget and profit & loss accountability, along with hiring authority across all three. She will report directly to TBGA President, John Barnes.

As TBGA grows to meet the evolving needs of the advanced manufacturing industry, the company is intentionally focused on building an organization that promotes customer success and employee engagement. The Programs work is at the core of what TBGA does, and its scope has expanded considerably in recent years. The addition of this new executive leadership role reflects the importance of ensuring Programs delivery is a top priority.

Jen brings a track record that fits the role. She established the Additive Manufacturing division at Wabtec (previously GE Transportation), and this engineering background coupled with hands-on additive manufacturing (AM) experience provides the technical credibility customers seek. In her current role as TBGA Director of Programs, she has led project development and delivery from first customer conversation through close-out. This expanded role will support the company-wide launch of TBGA’s Strategy & Integration vision, connecting delivery, contracts, and strategy under one view.

“Jen has grown a great deal during her time at TBGA and has a proven record of performance as Director of Programs,” said John Barnes, President of TBGA. “In this role, she will work alongside me to expand what TBGA can deliver for our customers and our employees.”

“I am humbled to serve TBGA and our customers in this role, and so excited for our future. This role affords me the opportunity to shape our expertise and offerings to meet our customers’ needs and ensure excellence in our project execution. The work we do is important, and I am thrilled to have a chance to grow our impact.”

Coyne has been an established member of TBGA’s senior leadership team since 2021 and is widely recognized for her other activities across the industry. She recently completed her term as Chair of SME’s Additive Manufacturing Technical Community (AMTC). Her industry honors include Railway Age’s Women in Rail 2020, GE’s Women in Technology Winner 2017, as well as holding 8 US patents. She is recently became a member of her local Borough Council.
